The Irrelevant Examination Affects the Future of the Students

JAKARTA, KOMPAS — The preparation in facing the national examination at vocational high school has started since this second semester. Although the schools are preparing, the national examination is considered to be irrelevant and is actually not needed by the students in vocational high school.

Only 19 Percent Elementary School Has Multimedia Tools

JAKARTA, KOMPAS— It is only around 19 percent of the elementary schools in Indonesia that own multimedia tools. While in the Junior High School there is about 47, 8 percent and 75 percent for Senior High School and Vocational High School, except the private Senior High School which is only around 50 percent.

Department of Education Asks PT to supply students

JAKARTA-The government’s effort to pump up vocational schools is not accompanied by an addition in teachers. This results in the fact that SMKs all over Indonesia are lacking around 100 thousand teachers. If the problem is not quickly resolved, the quality of vocational schools might decrease.
