Media Indonesia (27/06/07): To reduce the drop out rate among students in Cibodas, Tangerang, PT Clariant Indonesia (CI) launches a scholarship program. The program which is carried out in Tangerang is part of the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) program.

The Rp200 million fund will be channeled through the Sampoerna Foundation (SF). The launch of the program was marked with the signing of MoU between Michael Lyons, President Director of PT Clariant Indonesia and Elan Merdy, Chief Operating Officer of the Sampoerna Foundation at the Sampoerna Foundation’s headquarters in Jakarta on June 25.

“We hope that our first donation will help reduce the number of students dropping out of school,” Michael Lyons said. (Drd/H-3)
